El Paso Realtor on "My first home" TV show

El Paso’s own Stephanie Phillips was selected by the TLC’s nationally syndicated TV show "My First Home" as the representing Realtor for a pair of sisters buying their first home in west El Paso. TLC received hundreds of audition tapes and interviewed many Realtors across the Southwest but chose Stephanie Phillips for her expertise in working with buyers and spirited personality.
The show captures the journey of two sisters as they go through the steps in the home buying process. Although the process is condensed to 30 minutes, the show follows them as they find the right real estate agent, obtain financing, search for homes, and finally happily close escrow with Tim Wieland of Sierra Title.
In reality, Stephanie worked with the sisters for over a year and showed them over 300 homes until they found the right one.
Since last taping in February, Stephanie Philips has since moved to Dream Work Realty, a company founded on the promise of ‘helping people achieve their dreams one home at a time.’
"My First Home" airs on TLC this Saturday, June 5 at 9:30 a.m.
